Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.
Former twice unified title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
However, the novice is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary face-off, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really happening.
